What's new in Incredible Startpage 1.2.0

To welcome the launch of the new Chrome Web Store, we have brought some new enhancements to Incredible Startpage. Hope you enjoy it!

  • Got lots of apps already? How about arrange them in 3 columns instead of two columns. Simply go to options and change the 'Number of columns' setting of "My Apps". (You can set that for "My Bookmarks" as well)


  • App launching now supports middle/left click to open the web app in new tab/existing tab respectively
  • Web apps now sorted in alphabetical order :)

    can't delete bookmarks, doesn't arrange alphabetical, I like the old Google new tab page better

    I jus would like to open the apps in the same tab as with the bookmarks. I have to go back and close that tab when I open an app.

    CanuckMariner: You can delete bookmarks from the bookmark manager in the Chrome options.

    It would be a nice improve though.

    @Yueni Thanks. Hm, the original tab not closing thing, is a known Chrome bug (refusing our close commands). Hope future versions will correct that. :P

    Very creative set up but I am very much spoiled by Speed Dial.
    If I could have one more tab next to My Bookmarks and My Apps, saying 'MY Speed Dials' I would be very happy!!!

    Great apps. You ever considered incorporate Google calendar into the startpage, that would be very convenient for the users.

    You know what you guys need? You need to add a "most frequent sites" tab to the box on the right. Like on the default start page. Other than that, though, this is great!

    Really need to have the ability to reorganize the apps after you have downloaded them. Also could we have more customization options like changing the backgrounds on the closed and bookmark panels to coordinate better with chosen backgrounds and photos. Thanks this is the best browser interface ever, ever, ever just need these few little tweaks and .....PERFECTO MUNDO.

    I'd love to see a new tab along side the bookmarks and apps list for History. Additionally, as others have asked for, one for most often used sites would be nice too.

    Just wonder if it can recover closed windows with several tabs, rather than showing each closed tabs of that window=)

    It would be nice if there was a way to add another tab at the side of "My Bookmarks" that allows you to add yet more. This way can separate things a little easier.

    For example, the main "My Bookmarks" could be your frequently used bookmarks, then I would have a tab for "Programming" bookmarks that I use frequently and another for "Blogs" (you get the idea).

    You have something similar in Too Many Tabs where you can add colums, but once you click a Tab out of there it gets removed, so you have to remember to put it back LOL.

    I really liked this, but unfortunately any URL's I went to or typed in never show up in the URL bar. had to remove it for this, need that for development.

    I really love this extension, it's my favorite. One request tho, is it maybe possible to add an option change the background color or upload your own pictures for the app and bookmarks tab?

    Or maybe the background color could automatically change to the theme the user is using?
