Incredible Startpage 1.3 is released!

Welcome! We have released Incredible Startpage 1.3 which includes lot of improvements. Enjoy!

Improved theme editor!! 


Beside using a custom URL, you may now use local file as background image.

Note: A normal wallpaper of around 100 to max. 500K in size is recommended. If the file is too large it might be slow to load the new tab and even crash the new tab.

We also have enhanced the photo picker for you to easily choose amazing photos from Flickr.com

Edit bookmarks directly in the main panel

To begin edit a bookmark, mouse over the bookmark item and click the 'wrench' icon at the bottom right corner. A pop up will appear and you may edit the bookmark title or delete it.

Handle local links
The main panel can now links like chrome:// or file:// are handled properly

TooManyTabs v1.8 release notes

Turn/off  TooManyTabs context menu - For those who prefer a less clutter context menu, please go to options and selected "Disable TMT context Menu".

New options for the TMT popup width - If you open TMT window by keyboard shortcut (e.g. ctrl + ~), now you may go to options and adjust your popup width. Set a larger width if you would like to see more tabs in the popup.

Note this only applies to windows open by shortcut. The Chrome limitation (width max. 800px) still applies to the standard popup.

FreshStart now has multiple windows session management

We know it is been a long wait and finally it's here! You can now save multiple windows into a single FreshStart session in version 1.5.0.

Two Panels View

The left panel is the current session, select windows and tabs you would like to save to a single FreshStart session. The right panel is the list of saved sessions, you can export, edit and remove sessions here.

Edit Session

The part with most changes is 'Edit Session'. Beside using checkbox to include/exclude tabs or windows, you may use drag & drop to move tabs around windows. In the picture below, I am dragging a tab from window (33) to window (103). Since both windows are checked, this will add two new windows to my session. You can also drag tabs directly to the existing windows (e.g. window 103). The window numbers are just Chrome's internal way of identifying windows. Don't be too bothered why they are of a particular number. =P

New options:

We have enabled custom zoom for the popup, please adjust it according to your need.

Open Sessions

Use left click to open a session in a new windows. If the session has more than one windows, it will open the same number of windows as specified in the session.

Advanced tips: With multiple window support, sessions will always open in new windows.

What's new in TooManyTabs for Chrome 1.7.0

By popular demand, with the latest version of TooManyTabs for Chrome, you may use context menu (right click menu) to send the current tab or any links on the tab to TooManyTabs immediately.

The tab/link can even be sent to different coulmns if you have enabled "custom columns".

Some users have shown concerns on the performance when loading tab previews. Actually you can start to select or sort tabs even though the previews are loading. We believe the previews are useful for users who prefer more visuals, if you prefer less, you can now turn off the tab previews in options.

TwitterWatch updated to 0.9.0

The problem of authorization is fixed in the version. After you authorize TwitterWatch on twitter.com, please go to here (see pic below) and enter the pin.

Enter the pin and click Authorize.

The retweet function now works in the latest format, instead of using the RT format. Thank you.

TooManyTabs now compatible with Firefox 4

Updates on 1.3.9:

• Fix the drag and drop issue that triggers malfunctions in the tabs bar
• OSX:  Profile clipping function in TMT options page is fixed, please remember to include your profile information when submitting a new bug report.
• The TMT arrow in OSX is not fixable at the moment. Please use the right click context menu or drag and drop to send a tab to TMT.

Steps for sending a bug report

• Install this extension Console2 http://goo.gl/JuNOi
• Open Tools > Web Deveopler > Error Console (Open a new tab and enter chrome://console2/content/console2.xul to open the error console)
• Select Chrome, JS, Error in the console, see image below

• Look for the word 'toomanytabs' in the error message after you interact with TMT (e.g. send a tab and nothing happened)
• Take screen shot of the error messages and include your profile information (Go to TMT options > Advanced and click copy profile information)
• Send all the information in your bug report.

What's new in Incredible Startpage 1.2.0

To welcome the launch of the new Chrome Web Store, we have brought some new enhancements to Incredible Startpage. Hope you enjoy it!

• Got lots of apps already? How about arrange them in 3 columns instead of two columns. Simply go to options and change the 'Number of columns' setting of "My Apps". (You can set that for "My Bookmarks" as well)

• App launching now supports middle/left click to open the web app in new tab/existing tab respectively
• Web apps now sorted in alphabetical order :)
