Incredible Startpage 1.3 is released!


Welcome! We have released Incredible Startpage 1.3 which includes lot of improvements. Enjoy!

Improved theme editor!! 


Beside using a custom URL, you may now use local file as background image.


Note: A normal wallpaper of around 100 to max. 500K in size is recommended. If the file is too large it might be slow to load the new tab and even crash the new tab.


We also have enhanced the photo picker for you to easily choose amazing photos from Flickr.com



Edit bookmarks directly in the main panel



To begin edit a bookmark, mouse over the bookmark item and click the 'wrench' icon at the bottom right corner. A pop up will appear and you may edit the bookmark title or delete it.

Handle local links
The main panel can now links like chrome:// or file:// are handled properly

    I love this extension, but after update to 1.3 i miss the favicons of my bookmarks...

    @all: The favicon issue is fixed in 1.3.3. The issue is caused by some complications when we tried to use the new favicon function. Anyway, hope you enjoy the new features.

    Hey guys love this extension however since being upgraded to 1.3 can't find the set your own background functionality that was delivered with 1.3

    Hi, please click "Theme Options" near the bottom left corner. There are 4 ways to customize your background now.

    @Christian Please go to chrome://extensions and click "update all extensions" to get the latest versions.

    1.3.3.3 crashes regularly for me, never had the problem before. Now it happens a couple times a day.

    Chrome pops up in the lower right and says Incredible Startpage has crashed and needs to be restarted.

    is there a possibility to customize the background color of the "closed" and "bookmark" boxes on the left side? if not, would be a great feature for future updates.

    @Jim Cullison If you are using local wallpaper, please choose a smaller one. seems Chrome can't handle a large image (because we have stored it internally inside the extension)
